Robin Goin-Harris, age 51, entered eternal rest on July 3, 2017, Born May 26, 1966 to Richard and Nancy Goin. Robin grew up in Springfield, and Sherman, IL, attending Williamsville High School, class of 84’. Robin met her husband, Tim Harris, during the summer of 82’, when friends dared the two to climb to the top of the water tower. From that day on, they were inseparable! They laughed, dated and fell in love, and married in January, 1986. Three sons were born, Jered, Channing and Zachary, her pride and joy. She attended Robert Morris and Remington Colleges, graduating with honors from both. Robin followed her boys to New Orleans in 1998, and evacuated to Louisville, MS when Hurricane Katrina hit, her and the boys moved to Louisville shortly after. Her sons were her joy, always joking and bantering with them. Her three boys were her heart and not a day went by that she did not let them know how much she loved them. Grandson Mason brought great joy as she watched him grow. She was anxiously awaiting the birth of her new grandson, Owen Joseph, hoping to be present at the delivery, but sad to say, she watched from above. Robin was preceded in death by her father, Richard Goin and her sister Julie Anne Goin. Surviving are her husband Tim, sons Jered, Channing, and Zachary, grandsons Mason and Owen, sister Erin Gingerick-Bean, brother Greg Goin and mother Nancy Goin-Domst.
