Mrs. Krista Shaw Tackett, 61, died Sunday, January 1, 2017, at the Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville, MS. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 4th, at Porter Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Faulk officiating. Interment will be in Murphy Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the service time at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tackett was born March 5, 1955, in Panama City, FL. She was a homemaker, and a member of South Louisville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy Louise Arnett Shaw and Climeth Spiva Shaw; her daughter, Heather McGuffee; one sister, Kathryn Shaw; and one niece, Brandy Catledge.
She is survived by her husband, William Tackett; one sister, Karen Shaw; her grandson, Trevor McGuffee; aunts, Betty Shaw, Mary Shaw, Nellie Rogers, Kathleen Nowell, and Neeta Hart; great niece, Victoria Long McKinley; and great nephews, Austin Long and Trevor Brooks.
