Janice was born February 19, 1933, to John M. and Elizabeth Whitehead Young. Janice was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and she was a homemaker. Her hobbies included reading, knitting, and sewing.
Janice is survived by two daughters, Geraldine Hutchens of Memphis, Tennessee; and Barbara Miles and husband, Lew, of Louisville; and by two sons, Jackie White and wife, Diane, also of Louisville; and Billy Dale White and wife, Cheryl, of Vicksburg, Mississippi. One of her greatest joys was being “Mamaw” to her seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard D. White; her son, Brian Keith White; and her parents.
Serving as pallbearers are Philip Coker, Gerald Griffin, Seth Griffin, Lew Miles, Bobby Don White, and Caleb White. Honorary pallbearers are Kit Frazier, Austin McCool, Cassidy White, and the nurses and aides of the Windsor Place at Plantation Pointe. Memorial contributions in honor of Janice may be given to Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 114 Athens Drive, Louisville, MS 39339
