Homer Boydstun, Jr.

Mr. Homer H. Boydstun, Jr., 66, died Friday, January 20, 2017, at Choctaw Residential Center in Philadelphia, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 23rd, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jason Gross and Rev. Mark Mayo officiating. Interment will be in Good Hope Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 11:30 A.M. until the service time at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Boydstun was born May 2, 1950, in Louisville, MS. He attended Nanih Waiya High School, and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewel Hunter Boydstun and Homer H. Boydstun, Sr.

He is survived by his two sisters, Barbara (Bobo) Ming of Louisville, MS, and Betty (John) Robinson of Byram, MS; numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mark Williams, Zane Williams, Wayne Moody, Dustin McDaniel, Michael Ming, and Hunter Ming.
