Visitation will be Friday, September 2, 2016, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Nowell Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will also be from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church. Mr. Todd, 97, of Philadelphia, MS, died Monday, August 22, 2016, at Mississippi State Veterans Home in Kosciusko, MS.

He was a native of Winston County. He worked for Brown Lumber Company in Pell City, AL, and then served in the U. S. Navy Seabees in the Pacific Theater. Returning home, he worked for Winston County Beat 5 with road maintenance and later for Caperton Auto Supply in Louisville for 16 years. He later retired from Georgia Pacific Particle Board Plant where he had worked for several years. Mr. Todd was a member of First Church of God in Philadelphia.

Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Todd of Philadelphia, MS, sons, Bobby Joe Todd (Jo) of Louisville, MS, Donny Todd (Kay) of Louisville, MS, and Karey Todd of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Lisa Strickland, Dr. Misty Sharp (Jason) and Ginger Gorman (Shane); great-grandchildren, Blake (Emily), Missy (John), Brock, Todd, Parker, Griffin and Grant; great-great-grandchildren, John Cole and Paisley Rae; sister, Sybil Coward of Noxapater; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Todd was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evon Todd, parents, Robert E. and Siddie Todd; sisters, Alma Norris and Gladys Taylor; and brother, James Edsel Todd.

Mrs. Frankie Mayo, 83, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at her residence in Louisville, Mississippi. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

Frankie was born March 14, 1933, to Frank and Bertha Jewel Bethany Armstrong. She was a member of Poplar Flat Baptist Church and a member of the High Point Volunteer Fire Department. She was a homemaker and many will remember her as an Avon Representative.

Mr. Bill Parkes, age 79, passed away in Gulfport on August 11, 2016.
Bill was born in Louisville, MS, on November 16, 1936, to the late Grady and Velma Parkes. He was retired from the Harrison County School System.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Joyce Ingram Parkes; his daughters, Belinda Parkes, Susan (Mike) Thornton, and Sharon (Tim) Stockstill; and his grandson Grady Thornton. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Otis Lamar Parkes.

Nadean Eaves Miles

Nadean Eaves Miles, 74, of Brandon, MS, went home to be with her heavenly Father on August 9, 2016. She was born on March 6, 1942 in Louisville, MS to Albert McKinley Eaves and Elsie Haggard Eaves.

She graduated from Clarke College in 1962 and from William Carey in 1964. She was married on December 26, 1964 to her high school sweetheart, and worked for many years as his secretary/bookkeeper at United Die Mold in Jackson. She also served at Bethel Baptist Church in Brandon as church secretary and church clerk, where she was a faithful member for many years. However, her greatest accomplishment and highest priority was being a devoted wife and loving mother.
