Mrs. Kathleen McKinnon Watson, 103, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Louisville Healthcare in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 27th, at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until the service time at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Watson was born May 9, 1913, in McAdams, MS. She was retired from the Louisville Public Schools, where she taught Junior High science and math. Mrs. Watson was also a member of First Baptist Church, where she helped with Vacation Bible School, taught Sunday School, and was later a member of Grace Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Patty Watson, Jr.; and her parents, Edna Hudgins McKinnon and Fred Roby McKinnon.
She is survived by her daughter, June Woodruff of Coral Springs, FL; her son, George (Dorothy) Watson of Louisville, MS; two grandchildren, Pate Watson and Jennifer Tramel; and one great granddaughter, Hannah Gaylord.
