Alma Dean Eaves

Alma Dean Eaves, 82, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at the Grenada Living Center in Grenada, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Keen and Rev. Grady Crowell officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at Nowell Massey Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Murphy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Alma Dean was born July 23, 1934, to Odie and Floy Triplett Eaves in Noxubee County, Mississippi. She was a graduate of Bond High School and Hinds Community college; she retired as a Business Manager at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Alma Dean was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church and she loved to sew and grow flowers.

Miss Eaves is survived by her sister, Reta Holden of Grenada, Mississippi; her brother, Odie Frank Eaves and wife, Janet, of Utica, Kentucky; and two nieces, Annetta Johnson and husband, Dameon, of Hendersonville, Tennessee; and Janetta Wright and husband, Jeremy, of Parksville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial contributions in honor of Miss Eaves may be given to Bethel Baptist Church, c/o Monica Cockrell, 389 Mack Eaves Road, Louisville, MS 39339.
