Neva Irene McClelland Hutchinson, 85, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Starkville Manor in Starkville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Nowell Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvin Mordecia and Rev. Michael Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in the Craig Springs Cemetery.
Neva was born August 10, 1930, to Rogers and Anna Boyce McClelland. She loved her family and spending time with them, she also loved playing and singing bluegrass and gospel music. Neva lived her whole life in Craig Springs where she was a homemaker, devoted mother, grandmother and friend.
Neva is survived by her daughter; Patsy Bock and husband, Tommy, of Sturgis, Mississippi; her sons; Ricky Hutchinson and wife, Cathy, of Columbus and Will Hutchinson and wife, Tonya, of Sturgis. She also leaves behind; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Ms. Hutchinson was preceded in death by her husband, William Lawrence Hutchinson Sr.; her parents; and her sons: William Stephen and Roger Dale (Boochie) Hutchinson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Glen Cherry, Toby Cherry, Stacy Cherry, James Lindsey, Troy Jones, Randall McClelland, George Edmonds and Jay McClelland.
