Mrs. Syble Coward Kinard

Mrs. Syble Coward Kinard, 95, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016, in the Winston Medical Facility in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville, MS at 2:00 P.M., with Rev. Dusty Coward officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Louisville.

She was born December 10, 1920 to the late Will A. and Willie Margaret Coward of Noxapater, MS.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Louisville. Syble worked for the Louisville Garment Factory for twenty years, and also as a seamstress for the public for years afterward. She loved spending time with family, friends, gardening and fishing.

Mrs. Kinard was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Kinard, six brothers, Thomas, Adam, Prentice, Percy, Bill, and Dewey Coward; and four sisters, Birdie Stevens, Arlene Thomas, Wessie Patton, and Wilma Wilson.

She is survived by daughter, Betty Mosley (Jim) of Jackson, AL, and son, Don Kinard (Brenda) of Louisville, MS, four grandchildren, Chele Tucker (Michael) of Louisville, MS, Karen Bright (Eric) of Madison, AL, Donya Kinard of Caledonia, MS, and Jamie Holder (Billy) of Jackson, AL; and eight great grandchildren, Reagan Williams (Nick), Jordan Trim, Skyler Tucker, Holton Manross, Justice Bright, Allora Bright, Rindey Holder, and David Michael Holder. She is also survived by two brothers, Troy and Olyn Coward, and a host of nieces and nephews.

 Pallbearers are Eric bright, Michael Tucker, Billy Holder, James Coward, Dell Coward, and Jerry Coward. Honorary pallbearers will be the nephews, Troy Coward, Jr., Billy Wayne Coward, Forest Gene Coward, Danny Coward, Barry Coward, Jimmy Wayne Coward, J.W. Thomas, Devon Thomas, Asa Thomas, Charles Thomas, Roy Stevens, and Byrdette Stevens.

Memorials are to be made to the First Baptist Church of Louisville Choir or Van Fund.
