Ms. Stokes was born March 5, 1950, to William and Christine Lang Burks. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hardy; and two grandchildren, Hailey and Hayden Hardy all of Plainwell, Michigan. Also left to mourn her passing is her two sisters, Joyce Eaves and Linda Trosper both of Louisville; and her brother Kenny Burks and wife, Mary, of Plainwell; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Buddy Burks and Jimmy Burks.
Memorials may be given to Nowell Massey Funeral Home to help defray final expenses.
