Mr. Blair was born August 17, 1947, to William Bradford and Lessie Mae Hathcock Blair. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Louisville.
Bernard is survived by two sisters, Mary Ann Blair of Jackson; and Barbara Jane Yount of Pearl; and by three brothers: John Blair and Richard Kenneth Blair, both of Louisville; and Charles Eugene Blair, of Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Jerry Wayne Blair.
