Mr. Ebb “Junior” Cockrell, 73, died Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Anderson Medical Center in Meridian, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 12th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Hubert Yates and Rev. Gary Caudill officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Betheden Cemetery.
Mr. Cockrell was born October 24, 1942, in Louisville, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine Livingston Cockrell and Ebb Cockrell.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy McAdory Cockrell of Kosciusko, MS; one sister, Glenda Higgason of Louisville; one sister-in-law, Charlotte McAdory; his mother-in-law, Peggy McAdory; and one nephew, Jason (Jessica) Harlan.
Pallbearers will be Jason Harlan, C.L. Ganey, Bro. Ricky Rogers, Derrick Hobson, Algene Howard, Gene Hill, and Jack Robinson. Honorary pallbearer is Jamie Higgason.
