Charles Victor Romedy

Charles Victor Romedy, 78, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2015, in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Dowd and Rev. Larry Odom officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 1 p.m. until service time at Nowell Massey Funeral Home.
Mr. Romedy was born April 4, 1937, to Victor and Oakley Giffin Romedy. He was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and a retired supervisor at Belwood.

Charles is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gaylia Anne Romedy of Louisville; his daughter, Debra McQuillen and husband, David, of Philadelphia, Mississippi; and his son, Charles Victor “Vic” Romedy, Jr., and wife, Beth, of Meridian, Mississippi. He is also survived by his sister, Maxine McCullouch; his brother-in-law and best friend, Joe Vowell, both of Weir, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Also left to mourn the passing of their “PawPaw” are four grandchildren: Casey Warren, Kylie Warren, Megan Warren, and Connor Romedy and wife, Heather; as well as four great-grandchildren: Hunter Crapps, Zaden Warren, Manny and Rodney Romedy. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Jean Vowell and Barbara Fulcher; and one brother, Kendall Romedy.
