Mr. Langley was born April 21, 1942 in Winston County, the only son of Leonard L. Langley and Winnie Ruth Wylie.
Cordell was employed with the U.S. Tombigbee National Forest Service in Choctaw County, MS for 25 years. He was a faithful member of Gum Branch Baptist Church and Grand Lodge of Mississippi F. & A.M. Mr. Langley’s interests included deer and squirrel hunting, fishing and camping, along with being talented in wood working and guitar.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carolyn Murphy Langley of Ackerman; son Lee (Casey) Langley of Louisville; and his pride and joy, grandson Emmett James Langley.
