Mrs. Harvey was born July 19, 1923, in Louisville, MS. She was a homemaker, and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Louisville High School, and attended Huntingdon College and MSCW. Bobbye was a member of the Louisville Fortnightly Club, as well as D.A.R. She married William “Billie” Harvey on November 4th, 1945 in Louisville. They lived in Louisville, Natchez, and Shreveport, LA before returning to Louisville in 1984. She moved to Aberdeen in 2012. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Graham Mitchell and Robert Lee Mitchell.
Bobbye is survived by her two children, Janet Harvey Hodges (David) of Aberdeen, MS and Luther Graham Harvey (Martha) of Ruston, LA; four grandchildren, William Graham Harvey (Jessica), Monna Paige Harvey, Mary Lee Hodges Moore (Josh), and Scott Carey Hodges (Megan); three great grandchildren, Callee Frances Moore, Braxton Mitchell Moore, and Walker Carey Hodges; and one sister-in-law, Lucille Harris.
The family would like to especially thank the staff of Garden Suites Assisted Living, and the second floor staff at Pioneer Hospital.
