Interment will follow in Sebastopol, MS at Steam Mill Presbyterian Church Cemetery with a graveside service at 3:00pm.
She was born on November 24, 1946 to the late Van C. Bobo and the late Evelyn Pearson Bobo in Louisville, MS.
Babs was a resident of the Jackson area for more than 40 years. She was a member of the Greater Jackson Dart Association for over 20 years and participated in dart tournaments throughout the Southeast. She served as Treasurer of the League for 12 years.
Her professional career began as an Executive Secretary for the YWCA for 12 years where she also taught swimming and yoga. She has been employed at Entergy as an Executive Secretary for the past 29 years. Babs is survived by her husband of 14 years, Charles "Chuck" Loper; four children, Jason, Tacy (Burt), Chuck and Briggs; sister, Brenda (Bill) and four grandchildren, Breanna, Katelyn, Conner and William.
