Mrs. Long, 64, of Philadelphia, died Monday, June 22, 2015, at her home.

She was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of the Burnside community. She worked as a registered nurse for Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, Choctaw Residential Center, Sta-Home Health and Diamond Grove in Louisville. Mrs. Long was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church and attended Friendship Assembly of God.

Survivors include her sons, Wade Massey (Kim) of Vicksburg, Barry Massey (Natalia) of Philadelphia and Craig Massey (Malia) of Philadelphia; stepson, Scott Long of Weatherford, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Marlee Massey, Landon Massey, Landon Gage Porter, Brandon Smith, Christian Smith, Ryan Kilpatrick, Benjamin Lee Massey, Noah Massey, Jacob Massey, Garrett Massey, Brandy Gentry, Dustin Kilpatrick and Chalee Massey; mother, Mary Grace Day (Lamar) of Philadelphia; sisters, Priscilla Sanders (David) of Philadelphia, Mary Ziminick (Bill) of Philadelphia and Maxine Sullivan (Ray) of Preston; brothers, Jimmy Vowell (Marsha) of Philadelphia and Carl Vowell (Doris) of Philadelphia; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her husband, B.J. Long and her father, Ivey Vowell.
