Mr. Combs, 72, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at his residence. He has lived in Noxapater since 1996. He was a General Motors Inspector. His hobbies include fishing, yard work & baseball. Mr. Combs was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Noxapater.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Combs & Bessie Deaton Combs; sister, Freda Minton; grandson, Joshua Combs.
Survivors are his wife, Beth Combs of Noxapater, MS; daughter, Cheryl Shoens of Shelby, NC; sisters, Katherine Brewer of KY, Alberta Grewe of MI, Joyce Walters of MI, Dora Sensing of MI, Glenda Sheridon of MI, Gail Stinson of MI & Wilma Thompson of KY; brother, Paul Combs of KY; (2) grandchildren, Jacob Shoens & Jordan Shoens; host of nieces & nephews.
