Edris Moody Cunningham, 92, passed away on Thursday, May
14, 2015, at Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Friday, May 15, 2015, from
5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday,
May 16, 2015, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home with Rev. Scarlett Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial
Cemetery in Meridian, Mississippi.
Mrs. Cunningham was born on November 5, 1922, to Wesley and Betty Rogers Moody.
She was a member of Flower Ridge United
Methodist Church and she was a retired inspector at Burnies Shirt Factory in
Meridian, Mississippi.
Mrs. Cunningham is
survived by her son, Henry Moody Moore and wife, Judy of Louisville. She was “EE” to five grandchildren: Susan Moody; Shannon Holdiness; Keith Moore
and wife, Renee; Brittany Moore, and Chase Moore. She is also survived by seven
great-grandchildren: Christopher Moody;
Dylan Moody; Katie Holdiness; Chelsea Holdiness; Lizzie Holdiness; Kyle
Holdiness; and Wesley Moore; as well as three great-great-grandchildren: Nick Holdiness, Luke Holdiness, and Jacob
Moody. Mrs. Edris was preceded in death
by her husband, Thurman Cunningham; her son, Billy Moore; three brothers,
Travis, Hubert, and Henry Moody; and three sisters, Clyetell Smith; Robbie
Rosamond; and Aline Eldridge.
Serving as pallbearers
will be Tommy Clay, Chico Holdiness, Kyle Holdiness, Dylan Moody, Daniel
Triplett, and Wally Triplett.
Services are under the
direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville,
