Tamara L. M. Smith

Tamara L. M. Smith, 52, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at her residence in Noxapater, Mississippi. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Father Augustine Palimattam officiating. Interment will follow in Indian Springs Cemetery in Noxapater.Tamara was born on August 28, 1962, and she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Louisville.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, James N. Smith, of Noxapater; her parents, William and Dianne McGee Maluvac of Porter, Indiana; and her son, Michael L. M. Smith; and her mother-in-law, Katherine Smith, both of Noxapater. She is also survived by three brothers: William Maluvac and wife, Evakay; Timothy Maluvac and wife, Heather; and Byron Maluvac and wife, Robin; three brothers-in-law, Christopher Smith; Kenneth Howard Britzius; and Daris Freimuth; and sister-in-law, Sandra Kay Brown; and one grandchild, Lucas Lee Eli Smith.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Britzius, Casey Smith, Christopher Smith, Jared Smith, Julius David Smith, Kaleb Vowell, and Tony Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Nowell-Massey Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
