Mr. Bobby Joe “Billy” Reed, 70, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015, in Winston County. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 16th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Agnew and Rev. Fred Underwood officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 noon until service time at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Butler Cemetery in Noxubee County.
Mr. Reed was born June 28, 1944, in Winston County, MS. He was a retired welder with Taylor Machine Works, and was a member of the River of Life Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie and James W. Reed.
He is survived by his wife, Jamie Kitchens Reed of Louisville; sons, Bobby W. Reed, James C. Reed, Justin Ryan Kitchens, and Joshua Kitchens, all of Louisville; a daughter, Amber Kathleen White of Louisville; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
