Robert Whitehead
Robert Whitehead, 46, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, in Attala County, Mississippi. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in Vernon Assembly of God Cemetery.Robert was born on June 8, 1968. He was a member of Zion Chapel Pentecostal Church and was employed as a lineman by East Mississippi Electric Power Association.
He is survived by his wife, Jolene Eudy, of Noxapater, Mississippi; his daughters, Jessie Lee Whitehead also of Noxapater; Dana Smith (Marky) of Red Bay, Alabama; and Heidi Eudy of Noxapater; four sons, Brad Glass (Eliana) of Madison, Mississippi; Matthew Glass (Shonda) of Philadelphia, Mississippi; Zachary Eaves; and Brock Eaves both of Noxapater. Robert is also survived by five sisters: Sylvia Parker (Kenny Shepheard) of Columbus, Mississippi; Judy Thomas (Cowboy) of Noxapater; Sara Whitehead (Michael White) of Louisville; Regina Whitaker (Greg) also of Columbus; and Penny Fulton (Terrell) of Preston, Mississippi; and two brothers, Bobby Vick (Trish) of Ackerman, Mississippi; and Guy Eugene “Buddy” Whitehead, Jr., of Greenville, Mississippi; and his mother, Glenda Wooten (Jody Bailey) of Columbus. He has five grandchildren: Allie, Landon, Peyton, Emma, and Bella Glass. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Carol Whitehead; and his brother, Glenn Ferguson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Alan Ward, Patrick Phillips, William Paul Smith, Barry Vowell, Al Hughes, and Peanut Young. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Danny Sullivan, Josh Dempsey and Rodney “Bud” Fulton. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, P. O.
