Donald Lee “Potter” Fulton

Donald Lee “Potter” Fulton, 76, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 18, 2014, at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2014, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Haggard officiating. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home on the day of the service from 12 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Rocky Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Fulton was born on May 23, 1938, to Louise Cooper Fulton and Charles Lee Fulton. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church; and, after working for 20+ years, he retired as a Water Operator for Louisville Utilities Water Department.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Elaine McKenzie Fulton, of Louisville, Mississippi; his sons, Chris Keene and wife, Beth, of Columbus, Mississippi; and Charlie Fulton of Louisville; and his sister, Marilyn Black, of Pineville, Louisiana. Mr. Fulton has one grandson, Mitch Keene, also of Louisville. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Billy Gene Fulton.


Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Reed, Ross Barnett, Stuart Waddell, Glen Gregory, Lee Myers, Bob Clay, Bobby Shields, Isaac Triplett, and Ben Kirk.
