Mr. William Jackson “J.W.” White, 79, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at Louisville Healthcare Nursing Home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 19th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. David Keen officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Yellow Creek Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Mr. White was born November 24, 1934, in Winston County, MS. He was a self-employed plumber and electrician.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents, Leona Hollis and George R. White; and one sister, Eddie Flake.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ford White of Louisville, MS; his son, Ted Alan White of Alabama; two sisters, Margaret Fountain of Louisville, MS, and Margie Morris of Noxapater, MS; two brothers, Lamar White of Macon, MS, and Doug White of Louisville, MS; and 4 grandchildren.
