Margaret C. Thomas

Margaret Ann Coleman Thomas was born on Monday, November 18, 1935, in Noxapater, Mississippi. She went home to be with Jesus on Monday, November 18, 2013, on her 78th birthday. Margaret was a member of First Apostolic Church of Louisville, and she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clifford J.Thomas of Louisville, Mississippi; her son, Ronald D. Thomas and wife, Victoria Fernandez Thomas, of Kingwood, Texas; and her daughter, Sherry Thomas Hill and husband, Edward Hill, of Cape Coral, Florida. Margaret has four grandchildren: Nikki Schneider and husband, Allen, of Houston, Texas; Brandon Thomas of Austin, Texas; Zachary Hill and Amber Hill both of Cape Coral, Florida. She is also survived by her siblings, Maggie Coleman Smith of Bean Station, Tennessee; Pat Coleman and wife, Dot, of Florence, Alabama; and Sharon Coleman Reed and husband, Bobby, of Louisville. Margaret is a beloved aunt to 16 nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Ethel Price Coleman; her sister, Lucia Marie Coleman; and two brothers, Dan Coleman and Paul Coleman.

Visitation for Margaret will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Saturday, November 23, 2013, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at the First Apostolic Church with Rev. Victoria Fernandez Thomas and Rev. Michael Halfacre officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Allen Schneider, Brandon Thomas, Zachary Hill, Dan Thomas, Don Smith, and Danny Smith. Memorials may be given to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. The greatest accolade that could be said of Margaret is she was a true friend who loved deeply and was deeply loved by all who knew her.
