Mrs. Shirley Prisock Eaves, 75, died Sunday, October 6, 2013, at her home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 9th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Trent Jaudon officiating. Interment will be in Murphy Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00to 8:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Eaves was born June 6, 1938, in Louisville, MS. She was employed as a greeter at Wal-Mart, and had worked for TRW, Spartus, and Angelica. She was an accomplished artist and loved to paint, and loved traveling in the Smoky Mountains. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie and David Prisock; her sister, Madge Mayo; and two brothers, Pircie Prisock and Edward D. Prisock.
She is survived by a son, Doug (Stephanie) Eaves of Louisville; three daughters, Wanda (Alan) Barrett, Janet (Scott) Hemphill, and Diana (Charlie) Demboski, all of Louisville; a sister, Dorothy Evans of Madison, MS; 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
