Mrs. Eva E. Roberson, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2013, at the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Sunday, July 7, from 12 noon until service time. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewayne Kelsey and Rev. Toby Halfacre officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Roberson was born on March 15, 1926, to Dudley and Martha Gregory Stevenson. She was a member of Zion Chapel Pentecostal Church and she enjoyed her career as a cook and homemaker.
Mrs. Roberson is survived by two daughters, Sherry Duran and husband, Donny, of Louisville; and Linda Swindle and husband, John, of Noxapater, Mississippi; her son, James Berlin Roberson and wife, Judy; and her sister, Lorene White all of Louisville. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Traci Borlovan, Leslie Nagel and husband, Brad, and Clay Duran; and two step-grandchildren, Meagan Duran and Candace Duran. Mrs.Roberson also has two great-grandchildren, Jacob Borlovan and Halle Kate Nagel, as well as, five step-great-grandchildren, Jaylee Stokes, Wyatt Moody, Jaden Blair, Corbin Stapleton, and Madelyn Edwards. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie T. Roberson; her parents; two sisters, Lillie Mae Sutley and Myrtle Persons; and three brothers, John Henry, Lee and Coy Stevenson.
Pallbearers will be Willie Earl Stevenson, Larry Peavy, Eric Breazeale, Billy Joe Jones, Jeff Flake, Mike Robertson, Marion Hamm, and Jerry Coward. Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice.
