Mr. Woody Moody, 62, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013, in the Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Meadville, Mississippi. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 2:00
p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Butler and Rev. Doug Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dewayne Kelsey officiating.
Mr. Moody was born on May 4, 1950, to Edmond and Mildred Butler Moody. Woody was a member of Zion Chapel Pentecostal Church and he was a small business owner in Railroad Construction.
Mr. Moody is survived by his daughter, Kristi Warner and husband, Jason, of Louisville; his sons, Dylan Moody, also of Louisville; and Christopher Moody and wife, Lindsay, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; and his brother, Wayne Moody and wife, Debbie, also of Louisville. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Taylor Moody, Kevin, Levi and Logan Warner, and Kaydence Harrison. Woody was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Moody; his parents; and his brother, Terry Moody.
Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Sullivan, Gerald Ray Goodin, John Roach, Chris Moody, Ronnie Boyles, Doug Gregory, Lynn Carroll, and Robert Goodin. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Henry Moody Moore, Lacey Kemp, Kiley Moody, Chad Moody, Jeffery Moody, Hailey Moody, and Kyle Holdiness. Memorials may be given to Franklin County Memorial Hospital, P. O. Box 636, Meadville, MS 39653.
