Mrs. Shelby Jean Sanders, 76, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013, in the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Matt Moehring officiating.
Mrs. Sanders was born on May 19, 1936, to Shed and Mary Whitten Watson. She was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Sanders is survived by her daughter, Linda Luke and husband, David, of Greenville, Mississippi; her son Ken Sanders and wife, Tammy, of Louisville; and her brother Carey Watson and wife Lynn of Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Curt Luke and wife, Kimberly, Zack Luke and wife, Lindsey, Christin Sanders, Chase Sanders, Lance Sanders, Zane Sanders, and Emma Grace Sanders, as well as, three great grandchildren: Foster Luke, Sanders Luke and Lila Katherine Luke. Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Ray Sanders; her parents; and her granddaughter Laiken Grace Sanders.
