Mrs. Shirley Faith Lee, 95, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Hattiesburg Health and Rehab in Hattiesburg. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 8th at 11:00 A.M. at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Dwayne Mayo officiating. Interment will be in Craig Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until service time at Porter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lee was born October 23, 1916, in Sturgis, MS. She was a homemaker and worked as a medical clerk at the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman. She was a member of Wes Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eckford Lee; and her parents, Jenny Jackson and Robert Speir.
Mrs. Lee is survived by two sons, William (Colleen) Lee and Charles (Ann ) Lee, both of Brandon, MS; two sisters, Chaney Holman of Sturgis, MS, and Cubelle Killman of Johnson City, TN; three grandchildren, Amy L. Topik, Ben Lee, and Jennifer Robinson; and two great grandchildren, John David Topik and Mary Lee Topik.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne Ray, Harold Yarbrough, Bill Lindsey, Ben Lee, Derek Topik, and Brent Robinson.
