Miss Lola Joy Kirk, 79, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Infinity Hospice in Marion, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Monday, February 27, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m.on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, Mississippi, with President Winfred Aker officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born on January 6, 1933, Miss Kirk was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a nurse and was retired from Winston County Community Hospital.
Miss Kirk is survived by two sisters: Kathryn Kirk of Louisville, Mississippi; and Lavada Robertson and husband, Bobby, of St. Charles, Missouri. She is also survived by four brothers: Ralph Kirk; Randolph Kirk and wife, Sally; Roger Kirk and wife, Gloria; and Samuel Kirk and wife, Barbara, all of Louisville, Mississippi; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Enid Schoolar Kirk.
