Mrs. Corrie Lee Brown, 97, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at her home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 10th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Vowell officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until service time at the funeral home
Mrs. Brown was born January 24, 1914, in Louisville, MS. She was a retired bookkeeper for Tillman Drugs, and co-owner of Brown Machinery Service. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her grandchildren, James T. (Christy) Brown and Susan Leigh (Brett) Brewer, both of Memphis, TN; and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. Ingram and Allye Dempsey; her husband, T.Z. Brown; her son, Tommy Brown; her daughter-in-law Joan Brown; two brothers, Jack Ingram and James Ingram; and one sister, Eva Mae Oxford.
