Hayward Watts

Mr. Hayward Noel Watts, 79, of McCool, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011, at Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home from 5 p.m .until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2011, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, Mississippi, with Rev. Stacy Parvin officiating. Interment will be in Rural Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Watts was born November 26, 1931, to Noel Elias and Essel Shumaker Watts. He was a member of Rural Hill United Methodist Church and a contractor in Houston, Texas, for over 45 years. Mr. Watts is survived by two daughters, Nancy Humplik and husband, Johnny, and Starlet Meadows and husband, Russell; and by his son, Robert Watts, all of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by two sisters, Clyde Dean Greene of Louisville, Mississippi, and Dorcy Lawrence and husband, Henry, of Zama, Mississippi; two brothers, Jimmy Ted Watts and Allen Watts and wife, Sissie, all of Louisville; as well as three grandchildren, Brandon Meadows, Jeffrey Watts, and Jerry Watts, Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents, Noel Elias and Essel Shumaker Watts; two sons, Jerry Watts and Mark Watts; and a brother, Wade Watts.
