Bradley Henry Triplett
Bradley Henry Triplett, 64, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011, at the Starkville Manor Nursing Home, Starkville, Mississippi. Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 1, 2011, at 2 p.m., from Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Friday, from 12 noon until 6 p.m., from the funeral home. The body will be placed in the church on Saturday one hour. Beck Funeral Home in charge.
Anna Jo Wilkes
Mrs. Wilkes was born March 28, 1938. She was a member of Camp Ground United Methodist Church and she was a homemaker. Mrs. Wilkes served on the Board of Directors for the Winston County Library and as the Secretary of the Liberty Water Association.
Mrs. Wilkes is survived by a daughter, Jo Gaye Wilkes; a son, Charles M. Wilkes, Jr. and wife, Cindy; a brother, Billy Watson and wife, Caroline; a sister-in-law, Juanice Watson; and two grandchildren: Joleigh Anna Wilkes and Jenna Lynne Wilkes, all of Louisville, Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. “Sonny” Wilkes and her parents, Oliver and Alma Barfield Watson.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Suttle, Mike Perkins, Tim Smith, Phillip Carter, Tim Reed and John Albert Young. Memorials may be given to the Camp Ground Cemetery Fund. Mrs. Kathryn McKinley Haggard, 87, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Miss. Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 P.M. on Friday, September 30th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Lundy and Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Haggard was born October 30, 1923, in Choctaw County, MS. She was a homemaker, and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Haggard; and her parents, Myrtis Cummings and Emmett Carl McKinley. She is survived by one daughter, Marsha Gregory of Louisville; one son, Dale Haggard of Jackson, MS; a sister, Betty M. Morgan of West Point, MS; 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Anthony Morgan, Scott Smith, Stephen Smith, Hunter Sanders, Kevin Gregory, and Giles Ward. Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P. O. Opal Reed Gregory
Mrs. Gregory was born March 31, 1919, to Ruff and Jenetter Ruff Reed. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, a member of the Eastern Star, and she worked as a machine operator for 21 years at Spartus Corporation.
Mrs. Gregory is survived by two daughters, Emily Holton and husband, Jesse Gene, of Madison, Mississippi, and Patty Myers and husband, Rick, of Brandon, Mississippi; two sons, Donny Gregory and wife, Pat, of Brandon, Mississippi, and Jimmy Gregory of Louisville, Mississippi; one sister, Olene Pickett of Louisville, Mississippi; twelve grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Fulton Gregory; parents, Ruff and Jenetter Ruff Reed; four sisters, and four brothers.

Fanny Hisaw
Miss Hisaw was born July 29, 1934, to Robert and Annie Beth Fuller Hisaw. She was a lifelong member of Ellison Ridge Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday School teacher and at present serves as the church secretary and clerk. She worked for many years at Spartus Corporation, retiring in 1992.
Miss Hisaw is survived by two brothers: Embree Hisaw of Philadephia, Mississippi, and Marion Hisaw and wife, Susan, of Louisville, Mississippi; and by four sisters: Dorothy Gutierrez and husband, Joe; Joy Ming and husband, Van Dorn; and Bertie Jo Hisaw all of Louisville, Mississippi, and Gayle Persons of Shuqulak, Mississippi; and by sister-in-law, Carolyn Hisaw, of Louisville, Mississippi. Miss Hisaw is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Edwin and Annie Beth Hisaw; her brother, Robert Berlin Hisaw; her sisters-in-law, Virginia Hisaw and Willie Pearl Hisaw; and her brother-in-law, Bennie Persons.
Pallbearers will be Delbert Ming, Robert Hisaw, Brent Gutierrez, Dewayne Ming, Brad Winstead, Brant Winstead, Jon Richard Crowell, Jared Cockrell, Kenny Persons and Larry Cockrell. Hazel Lorena Luke
Hazel Lorena Ricks Luke, age 83, died at the Louisville Healthcare Center on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 after a long illness. She was born June 22, 1928 in Union, Mississippi to the late H. B. Ricks and Lorena Lang Ricks. She was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and also worked at Jarvis Oil Company for several years in the 1970s. She loved vacationing in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park and she and her husband took many trips there through the years. Hazel is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 60 years, James W. Luke. She is also survived by one brother Carl P. Ricks of Jackson, three sisters-in-law, Margaret Copeland Ricks of Jackson, Opal Clark Ricks of Noxapater and Audrey Luke Nowell of Noxapater. She is further survived by scores of much loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by three brothers, J. Clarence Ricks of Noxapater, Herbert B. Ricks of Meridian and Arthur E. Ricks of Louisville; one sister, Mazelle Ricks of Philadelphia, two sisters-in-law, Ludie Earl Stovall Ricks of Meridian, and Jewel Crocker Ricks of Louisville, and one brother-in-law Lamont Nowell of Noxapater. Funeral services for Hazel Ricks Luke will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 15 at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Trent Jaudon officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends and relatives are welcome at the Porter Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 10:00 am until the hour of services. Memorials may be made to the South Louisville Baptist Church, 933 W. Church Avenue, Louisville MS. Margie Miles
Mrs. Miles was born March 16, 1923, in Kemper County, MS. She was a retired supervisor at Noxapater Glove Factory, and baked cakes for Sunflower and Piggly Wiggly. She was named Farmer of the Year in Winston County in 1975, and was a member of the Emmaus Community, having been on Walk # 248. She was a member of Middleton United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Miles; her parents, Allie and Jessie Hutton; a daughter, Rosemary Miles; a sister, Jessie Garrard; two brothers, Levi Hutton and Dickie Hutton; and two grandchildren, Kyle Holloway and Maddox Miles.
She is survived by three daughters, Judy Taylor of Hattiesburg, MS, Marsha (Sam) Myers of Vancleave, MS, and Lisa (Barry) Holloway of Louisville, MS; two sons, Les (Sharron) Miles of Starkville, MS, and Denny (Jennifer) Miles of Louisville, MS; a sister, Frances Sullivan of Louisville, MS; a brother, Ellzey Hutton of Louisville, MS; nine grandchildren, Angie (Jesse) Lee, Kim (Jay) Walker, Chad Miles, Brandi (Clint) Avery, Lesley (Casey) Baker, Kelsey (Dave) Hardy, Josh (Emily) Miles, Brittany Miles, and Dusty Miles; and nine great grandchildren, Laken Sells, Tristin Lee, Colby Meyer, Jake Walker, Jacie Walker, Andrew Baker, Garrett Miles, Eli Miles, and Edde Miles.

Marvin "Gene" Robertson
Mr. Robertson was born May 31, 1937, in Louisville, MS. He was the son of Lillie Mae Foley and Marvin J. Robertson. He was a retired linesman with TVA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Robertson.
He is survived by a daughter, Sheila Fox of Burns, TN; 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Webb Boswell
Webb Boswell was born January 12, 1923, to Herman Frank Boswell, Sr. and Sara Selma Webb. Prior to his military service, he attended Millsaps College and was a member of the Lambda Chi Fraternity. He joined the United States Air Force and served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. While in the Air Force, he attended theUniversity of Pittsburgh and was a navigator on a P61 Black Widow in the 418th Night Fighter Squadron, serving in the Pacific Theater. Mr. Boswell remained in the Air Force Reserves until his retirement as a Major. Following World War II, he earned a degree in pharmacy from the University of Mississippi. He briefly practiced pharmacy in Louisvilleand soon joined his father’s pharmaceutical practice at Boswell Drugs in Noxapater, Mississippi. The family owned business was started in 1911 and also housed a medical clinic. The soda fountain and ice cream parlor served as the center of social life for many in the community. He was a Noxapater Town Alderman for a quarter of a century and a trustee for the Noxapater United Methodist Church for many years.
Mr. Boswell is survived by his wife, Bessie Sue Hull Boswell and his brother, Dr. Herman Frank Boswell, Jr. and wife, Jo, of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is also survived by his children, Dr. Susan Boswell Johnstone and husband, Jim, of Pontotoc, Mississippi; Webb A. Boswell, Jr. of Noxapater, Mississippi; Dr. Scott Hull Boswell, and wife, Connie, of Jasper, Alabama; David Boswell and wife, Elizabeth of Kemah, Texas; Kenny Boswell and wife, LeAnn, of Noxapater, Mississippi; and Will Boswell and wife, Joni, of Forest, Mississippi. Mr. Boswell is also survived by 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Boswell Bennett of Louisville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at Noxapater United Methodist Church in Noxapater, Mississippi, with Rev. Dewayne Warren and Rev. Smith Whiteside officiating. Following a Military Honor graveside ceremony, interment will be in Noxapater United MethodistChurch Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hull Johnson, David D. Richardson III, Colin Johnstone, Taylor Boswell, Webb Arnold Boswell III, Chris Boswell, Trent Boswell, and Zach Boswell.
