Mr. Graham H. Tempel, 85, died Saturday, August 13th, at the Beehive Home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15th, at 10:00 A.M. at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Monday at Riverwood Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS, with Rev. Pat Davey officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at Porter Funeral Home. Mr. Tempel was born September 23, 1925, in Norwood, LA. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in electrical engineering, and worked for 44 years with Mississippi Power & Light Company. He was a member and elder of Faith Presbyterian Church in Brookhaven, MS. He was a member of Brookhaven Lions Club, and was actively involved in community services in Brookhaven for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Barnett Tempel.
He is survived by three daughters, Sally (Fitz) Miller of Pensacola, FL, Lucy (Dave) Little of Natchez, MS, and Beth Crawford of Louisville, MS; six grandchildren, Katie Crawford (David) Buys, Jamey Crawford (David) Willers, Cal Crawford, Madeline Crawford, Maggie Hinesley, and Andrew Little, and two great grandchildren, Peter Buys and Brieleigh Willers.
