Johnny Lee Pearson

Mr. Johnny Lee Pearson, 77, died Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Louisville Healthcare in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 22nd, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Vowell officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Mr. Pearson was born July 31, 1933, in Choctaw County, Mississippi. He was retired from Tom’s Potato Chip Company. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Starkville, and was an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Watson Pearson of Starkville; a daughter, Alecia Pearson Coleman of Louisville, a son, Johnny Lee Pearson, Jr. of Louisville; two sisters, Bonnie Sloan and Louise Allen, both of Louisville, a brother, Thad Pearson of Jackson; four grandchildren, Justin Chandler, Natalie Richardson, Andy Coleman, and Rylee Pearson; and 7 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brett Fioramonti, Ernie Sloan, Bruce Sloan, Robert Allen, Garvin Whitten, Delbert Allen, Ray Wright, Jr. Memorials may be made to Quality Hospice of Philadelphia.
