Frances McGahey Easley

Mrs. Frances McGahey Easley, 97, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 8th, at New Hope Methodist Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery, with Porter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Easley was born June 14, 1913, the daughter of Ida Pearl Hill and John Clyde McGahey. She and her husband owned and operated Easley’s Grocery for many years. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Easley, and a son, Bobby Frank Easley. She is survived by her daughter, Yvette Daffron of McKenzie, TN; a son, Jerry Easley of Louisville, MS; a daughter-in-law, Faye Easley of Louisville; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the New Hope Cemetery Fund.
