Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Hearndon, 79, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at Rush Hospital in Meridian. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, Sept. 18th, at Good Hope Baptist Church, with Rev. Sammie McMillen officiating. Mrs. Hearndon was born February 2, 1931, in Fort Totten, NY. She was a retired LPN. She is survived by her husband, Alton Hearndon of Louisville, MS; five daughters, Camellia Hemphill of Louisville, Elizabeth Ann Henry of Guntersville, AL, Maurie Katherine Norman of Lake City, WA, Amelia Margaret Keeton of Carbon Hill, AL, and Ruth Ellen Stembridge of Tuscaloosa, AL; four sons, Edward Lowe Tidwell of Birmingham, AL, Maurice Eugene Tidwell of Guntersville, AL, Thomas Decha Tramel of Mobile, AL, and Terry Lee Hermecz of Louisville, MS; two sisters, Velma Ripley of Mobile, AL, and Joan Marie Demerelle of Leeds, AL; one brother, John Decha Burell of California; 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
