Mrs. Mary Magdalene Mayo Johnson, age 83, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Winston Medical Center. She was a retired nurse's aid and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Larry L. Johnson of Narco, LA; 1 sister, Marjorie Lewis of Louisville; one brother, Cecil Jennings of Louisville; two grandchildren, Samantha Johnson and Adam Johnson and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orvil L. Johnson.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 20th from 5 pm to 8 pm at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 21st at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jay Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
