Mr. Athel Louis Etzkorn, 81, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at his residence in Louisville, MS. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010 at the family residence in Louisville. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
Athel was born March 21, 1929. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Etzkorn, Louisville, MS; four daughters, Toni Eaves, Louisville, MS; Karen McCaffree, Shreveport, LA; Miki Sims, Tupelo, MS; and Sarah Gilliland, Naples, FL; as well as nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kellie Etzkorn and a son, Jeffery Etzkorn. Athel was a retired farmer.
