Dinni Clark, 63, died May 27, 2010, at her residence. Services were Sunday at First Baptist Church in Columbus with Drs. Shawn Parker and Bobby Douglas officiating. Burial followed in Salem Cemetery near Macon. Cockrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Clark was born Oct. 27, 1946, in Clarksdale to Frank P. Foster and the late Ruth Guinn Foster. She was a graduate of Clarksdale/Coahoma High School in 1964. She graduated from Delta State University in 1968 with a degree in home economics. She taught home economics at Lee Academy in Clarksdale, operated a preschool out of her home and had a catering business. She joined the staff at First Baptist Church in Columbus, where she continued to work until her retirement. She was director of Candy Stripers at Golden Triangle Regional Medical Center in Columbus and a member of First Baptist Church in Columbus. She and her husband were active members of the North MS Emmaus Community.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Nick Clark, of Macon; sons, Jay Clark, of Macon, and Conner Clark, of Cumming, Ga.; brothers, Buddy Foster, of Chicago and Mark and Pal Foster, both of Clarksdale; and four grandchildren.
